The real recipe is:-
12 oz mixed fruit
8oz Brown Sugar
10oz Brown S/R Flour
1 egg beaten
1/2 pint Strong hot tea
Soak the fruit in the tea & sugar over night, stir the egg & flour into the tea mixture, put into a greased tin, cook for 1hr & 1/2 on 150c.
I soak the fruit in hot water & honey & leave out the egg & liquidise a bag of porridge to make oat flour. If it feels a bit stiff add a drop of milk. you can put walnuts and cherries on top if you want to. I also cook this mixture in my crock pot for about 2hrs and it coms out o.k. Good Luck
