Paul Ince sacked, is eight weeks really long enough for a manager to blend a team to his way of playing, should he have at least been given the January transfer window to try to buy and sell players of his choice, or is it that the players did'nt like him, it will be interesting to see how they play now he has gone, hope they dont play well on Saterday, my team are there.

Like your calendar 22 June to 16th December = 8 weeks

On hindsight, I think the Blackburn board probably feel they employed the wrong man in the first place, and I reckon they should be held accountable. I am guessing Ince is a hard taskmaster, and while he did a fantastic job at Macclesfield and MK Dons, I wonder if his "bully boy" tactics are tolerated less by the millionaire prima donnas at his disposal now. It certainly didn't help his cause, losing Bentley and Friedel before the season started. It will be interesting to see what happens on Saturday, a "must-win" surely for Blackburn.
I've been told he wasn't pleasant to work with at MK Dons. I don't know a lot about football, but 8 weeks doesn't seem a long time for a manager to settle in with the players.
it was six months not 8 weeks, which is longer than some!

I agree lesblue, I think they got the wrong man when they employed him. Who's next for the job I wonder?

Hi Dave, unlike yourself ,some of us do make mistakes occasionally, please stop trying to be a smart arse as you are not very good at it.
Did'nt he have Archie Knox on his team?
You'll win fcuk all with that t0ss pot on your side!
Although I do agree, I feel Ince was the wrong man for the job, the press picked him for Blackburn more than anything I think.
thats funny 123 everton when you consider Archie Knox was assistant to fergie at man utd and then assistant to walter smith at rangers!! how many trophies did those 2 clubs win in the last 20 years? halfwit
He did nothing at Everton except threaten to break Stephen Hughes's legs.
How many trophies did he win with Ferguson?
All you need to win things in Scotland is for Celtic to be poor, Scotland is no barometer of footballing success or prowess.
And Everton IS a "barometer of footballing success or prowess"??
I think we're the 4th most successful team in the country.
To each their own.
Mr Marvel a little humour never hurt anyone did it?

I do make mistakes and unlike you I can accept it gracefully when I do.

As the time period was germain to the question I also think its relevant.

Suggest you go and get the humour bypass removed.
funny enough everton rangers are the most succesful football club the world has ever seen!!! the last time i checked everton hadnt won sh i t e all since 1995!!
Scotland's a sh1te place for football, a 2 horse race every year.
Ranger's and Celtic would struggle in the championship (old division 2) in England, any team after that would struggle in League 1 and worse for the likes of the Accies etc
LOL, half wit.
