Is there anyone from the BBC here who can clarify as to how much of this show is scripted??. I think that the panel members have a good look at all the questions/clips/photos etc and decide on responses. Is it the same for radio shows like Just a minute?

of course ! and the show is lots of edits and re-delivery of lines
...and on JAM they know the subjects and who's going to start them off. Doesn't worry me and probably makes for a better show.
I went to see the filming of "They think it's all over", and the filming lasted nearly 3 hours for a single show.

And whilst I didn't get the impression anyone was delivering pre-scripted lines, an awful lot of rubbish jokes were made, but probably only the best 10% made it into the show.
Paul Merton was the subject of the South Bank Show about 2 maybe 3 years ago. There was footage of Paul,Ian,Angus & the 2 guests in the studio sitting behind the desks. The studio was empty & from what i can remember of the clip it seemed that Angus was going over a few things with them.
