How can you safely lubricate the keys on a keyboard, without taking it apart?

Thanks for trying, but I have read elsewhere on the net that WD40 dries out and only make matters worse. Silicone based lubricants are said to be better, but all instructions I have found involve dismantling the entire keyboard, and I am reluctant to do this.
