I have heard a lot of side effects about the acne medicine, accutane. Specifically I am interested in knowing how many people think they have experienced stunted growth from this drug. I took the drug at age 14. I fit the gereral height range of the men in my family so I'm a little confused. I'd just like to know what is thought about the drug as far as stunting growth and if many people have actually been stunted. Also someone please define stunted growth for me. Because I still grew after I took the medicine. I know this is a long question but its a good one so take your time and help me out. Thank you

I have heard of problems with this acne drug the children of friends of ours took the drug because they suffered badly with acne the daughter became very withdrawn and locked herself in her room and the son also had problems which resulted in him not joining the RAF . Though I havent heard of any problems associated with growth and both the people involved are through their problems now .
