Not sure if this is the correct section, is it cheaper to boil a kettle using a gas hob or an electic kettle assuming the same amount of water is boiled? TIA

Its quicker and cheaper to boil eggs in an electric kettle than in a pan on a gas/electric hob.
I don`t drink tea or coffee before I go to work so I never have to boil the kettle so the missus gets her tea in bed from hot tap water

When she wakes up and drinks it she just presumes it`s been sitting there for a while
It HAS - in the tank! Urghhh ELVIS!!!! : )
