No cold water supply coming from water tank

I have turned of the mains water supply and drained the system, after replacing the taps, I have turned the supply back on, but cannot get any cold water supply to the toliet or taps, what's gone wrong?

assuming the taps and toilet are fed from the roof tank..........it's usually an airlock.............sometimes it'll gurgle and sort itself out..............can you put a piece of hose on the tap ...... then blow into it.................sounds silly I know, but it usually works. :o)

I assume you've got mains supply coming out of the kitchen tap OK?
if you have a cistern for cold water somewhere, in the loft or above the cylinder the float valve is stuck or needs replacing. if you can be bothered you can replace the washers in the valve
