Usually about 5 or 6 depending on the size of the book, how interesting it is and how tired I am! I've been pretty tired lately and tend to fall asleep while reading so not so many at present.
I adore reading - and I do a lot of it ! I usually manage to get through about three paperbacks (fiction) a week, plus at least one non-fiction book over that period, so at least 20 a month. Good job I've got the public library near me !
I love autobiographies and biographies, I read 2 Gordon Ramsey books and a Michael Jackson biog whilst on holiday and they were really good. Otherwise I do like Wilbur Smith, Dean Koontz and Stephen King.
I am currently reading Diana Gabaldons Drums of Autumn, Mary Gentles The Stone Golem, Magnus Mills All Quiet on the Orient Express (all fiction) and am also enjoying Andrew Marrs A History of Modern Britain (wow, what a read!) and have just finished Diarmuid Jeffreys Aspirin (one of the best non-fiction page turners Ive read this year - I couldn't put it down!)
I too read a lot. I love my thrillers and am reading something by Kathy Reichs at the mo!!!
I can get through a book a week and when I go on holiday, I take a good supply with me. A book in one hand and a drink in the other, sun shining, sheer bliss!!!!
Since I have been home for summer, I have been reading 6 or 7 a week. Once school goes back I probably read that per month. It is too much with the books I am teaching to have too many going at once.
