Anyone on here from barnsley? Im from barnsley orig but now living in cotswolds ant been back to barnsley for abit and just woundered what was new........

Still a host of very good charity shops. Havn't been into town centre for a while, but last time I was there it was business as usual. The pedestrian precinct is still the best place to be.

Not to worry sir alec.. Barnsley is about 15 miles away from donny noknowledge(not that it matters).I think alot of people think were half wits which is totally unfair,Iv lived where i am now for 10 years and people still dont take me seriously because of my accent but i love it,

People in Barnsley and Sheffield don't take me seriously as I have a southern accent from growing up in Bedford. I was born in Sheffield though. Now live near Penistone.
