right ive asked this b4 but got nowhere....im looking for the name of artist/paintin ....the best i can describe it is its like lookin at niagra falls without the water and there are some bodies lying broken and twisted on ledges on the left and right of the picture at different hight and its in black and white i think its supposed to represent souls going into hell.....not bosch  !

It could be one of Gustave Dor�'s drawings . He illustrated Dante's Divine Comedy and the illustration you're thinking of could be one of his Inferno drawings.
Is it a painting or a drawing?  What style is it in i.e. surrealism, impressionism etc.?  Where did you see it?

its impressionism i think...its in the same vein of dore's but its not one of his because ive checked everyone of his! i remember seeing it on a art series  that was shown on channel 5 last year as best i can remember its a drawing
