Me and some friend have set up a small LAN (10Mbps), we all share an ADSL internet connection (512 up 256 down) so we can all play online. Which transfer mode is best suited for online gaming Full or Half duplex.

Your online gaming will put next to no overhead on even a "slow" LAN of 10Mbps (your max down is 512 or aprox 5% of your potential LAN) so it won't make a difference to transfer speed. Latency differences are also not likely to be significant though you could test this by pinging your game servers in each mode and comparing.
