I recently bought a car and have since found out that it is a category 'c' should the garage I purchased from informed me of this

Category C and Category D Registered Cars

yes,they should have informed you,also when you insured it,they should have told you as well.

Yes the garage were very naughty in not telling you the car's past history.
When I purchased an MGF for Miles our son, we did an HPI check on-line.
