I have a wedding coming up at the end of this month and would really like to seriously lighten my hair. I have already successfully dyed my hair using home kits (as I can't afford the salon 's), but as time has gone on my roots - which aren't ugly - I actually think it looks really quite natural - have turned a sort of strawberry blonde whereas my ends have remained very blonde (it does blend quite well as I have low and highlights throughout from a salon job at Xmas. I have a reddish/browny tone to my hair and this has obviously brought it out more on my roots, I would like a product that would guarantee the blonde roots again, as an all over colour. Any good (strong) permanent blonde dyes I could try that would do this for me? Sorry this is long, but I think I need to explain everything a little bit more so that you guys can hopefully help me!!!!

You really should have your hair coloured professionally.

I know really I should, but as (I can't afford it), and am confident in colouring it myself - have done numerous times before with no problems I would just like to know a product that will significantly lighten it. I know most will to an extent, but as a one off for the wedding I would like to go that bit brighter...
