Blonde Hair, Black Eyebrows ...

Why don't ladies who dye their hair blonde, dye their black eyebrows too? Or is it not possible to dye eyebrows? (I'm not one of those ladies who visit the beauty salon).

It looks a bit strange to me.

To get your eyebrows lighter you would have to bleach them first, then dye the colour you want them to be just like you do when you lighten hair. That would be a hell of a faff.

Mine are very light, almost unnoticeable. I sometimes go over them with a brown pencil to give them a bit of definition.

I reckon it would be easier to go back to being brown/black haired than mess about with eyebrow tinting, at the rate they grow it would be a waste of money. Black roots looks bad too.

But gran, hair grows really quick too. For the ladies who don't like their roots showing ... surely the black eyebrows are a dead giveaway?

I know what you mean Mrs C - I work with a woman who is so blonde she's almost white but she has big thick black brows which she pencils in to make them that dark. It looks ridiculous, and she has the cheek to mention if anyone else has their hair dyed that their eyebrows don't match!

mrs.chappie long delay in reply I know but penciling in just rubs off well with me it does, so I have them tinted and it lasts a good few weeks so to me its worth the expense and then at least I can see I do have eyebrows.
