Right Fellow Ab'ers, this is something that has always puzzled me. If as most doctors and physicists agree the brain is merely made up of complex cells and the interaction of these cells can be displayed as patterns, then surely the behaviour of these patterns can be predicted. This begs the question do we have any free will? Or are all of our actions simply pre determined by the particular pattern of neurones in our brain at any one time.

I'd give that 4 stars!

Do you believe in free will? I have found that I do not. I have read similar theories regarding the neurones in our brains but these articles were from a philosophical point of view. They best way to go about trying to answer this is grab the nearest intelligent person to you and debate your points. It may also be a matter of belief, if the patterns cannot be predicted then you may need to think of otherwordly sources. Hope I helped...:-/  good luck!
