I hate my job with a passion and really want to leave as soon as possible!!
I have mortgage protection insurance. If I am sacked will the insurance pay out? I know it will not be paid if I took voluntary redundancy. I am in the process of job hunting now but can't stand it here a minute longer!!
Thanks!!

Thanks for the advice Tigersam. I agree with you wholeheartedly. Admittedly I don't mind interviews and tend to feel quite relaxed. I am signed up with many agencies, unfortunately in my line of work all the employers go to the same agencies so it just depends on which one approaches you first. I think the market is quite quiet at the moment, I'm hope this will pick up after the 5 April.
CAJ1 - it's a horrible feeling not liking your job, I hope you find something soon.
Having read this is all i can say is very good luck.
You have my sympathies with your job
Generally they don't pay out for being sacked. most probably won't even pay out if you are made redundant or even when you are sick. AND you usually any payment will not come into effect for several weeks or even months.

go to your doctor, explain the stress thing and he will give you a sick note for a few weeks at least. it will give you a bit of brething space to get a new job. life is too short, be warned
