shrunk cardy

help.. i shrunk my partners wool cardy by accidently putting it in the tumble dryer !!!! is this fixable or ruined??

Ruined I'm afraid.
Sorry. At least I've never been able to retrieve an over- tumble dried woollie.
Dash out tomorrow and secretly buy a replacement is the best advice I can give.

oops... wot care label...???... no ..stupid me pulled all washing out of washing machine, forgetting that the cardy was in there... and put it straight into tumble, ..ps im female and partner is male... it was his fav cardy( bought in USA)...Im never gonna hear the end of this !!!
