passport ?

five weeks ago i applied for a new passport i done check and send. sent it away with my birth certificate.
I have phoned them four times now asking how are they getting on,and twice they have said they are doing a surcurity check on me and they wnt to speak to me.
I have left my phone number and they still havent got back to me over this ? I must be a bit dodgy lol

they do random checks now, it depends on how fast the responses are coming in from the people they are contacting for id confirmation
