How do they get the singing Jack Russel dog in the new VW Polo advert to look frightened and shivery?

it is done with cgi trickery, if you look at the front half of the dog and compare it with the back they dont quite fit, that advert has caused quite a stir

Song is "I'm a Man'"originally by Spencer Davis Group (lead singer Stevie Winwood), but I don't know who's singing the advert version
