Reminds me of on the buses
I know two kids called Arthur. One is 10 years old and the name isn't shortened at all..and to be honest he is a precocious little sod!

The other is 15 and has been known as 'Ace' practically all his life.

Personally I don't like the name much...and I usually like traditional names.
That what I want to call a boy if I ever have one. Its lovely :)
Ace?

pmsl
Depends on what your surname is. Otherwise the "half a" jokes will be flooding in.
That reminds me.

A friend of mine called her rabbit Arfur...as in 'R For Rabbit' lol.

pmsl at On The Buses, Rev. makes you think of little snotty baby sitting on the potty all the time!

Yes ~ the 'dirty old bu88er' laugh.
