nissan almera handbrake warning light problem

my 2006 s model almera h/brake warning light has started flickering on whilst driving.any ideas what causes this ? and how it can be fixed ?

If you hold the handbrake lever down it will probably stop doing it, the small switch under the lever is loose or wants adjusting.

It might have a secondary function of warning you your brake pads/shoes are worn out though, check your car handbook.
same has happend wiv me before its your brake pads they need replacing
