I have done nothing today!

Has everyone had a good day? My boss has moved the business up north, and left me down here to tie up any loose ends before I'm made redundent at the end of the month. He hasn't given me any work to do, despite my constant pesterings for jobs. He's taken every aspect of the business with him and I'm left with an old computer with none of my work on it. The 'new girls' were supposed to send me work to do, and once again despite my pleas, they've ignored me. So basically I've done diddly squat all day! I know he doesn't need me anymore, and is just keeping me on because he knows I don't have alternative employment yet. So I have been paid to sit on AB for the day. Fab! Cut a long story short, how has your day been?

I have asked him this, as it would save both my petrol and car park money. He didn't take it too well. It was a we'll discuss it tomorrow" situation, which I know means it will never be mentioned again. He did however let me work from home on Friday as I had an interview. After which, I sat in bed with my laptop. A much more appealing idea!
