saucepans !
6 Answers
This is probably the most boring question you'll read this week. I recently acquired a new set of stainless steel saucepans and already they are starting to look grotty - not dirty, they just don't seem to like the dishwasher. The outsides are fine but the insides come out looking tarnished and discoloured. Presume that the insides and outsides are the same metal so this is a puzzle for me. I always had saucepans with a layer of teflon inside so have never had these before - how can I restore them to their former glory?

I get tarnish type marks in mine & they are not cheap saucepans but by using Astonish which incidentally is brilliant for cleaning things like ovens, sinks & even glass. only costs about 85p they come up gleaming. hope you can locate it somewhere.
My set of stainless pans are made by Kinox and are at least 20+ years old , but I just wash them with a green pot scourer if something burns on to them use a Brillo pan , they are not discoloured and went through the dishwasher when I had one . If you are not happy with them ,return them and get a refund .
