I don;t think it is, not with First Choice, they are quite good in the cabin anyway. If you want the big leather seats and the free booze they are ok goiung out, but usually on long haul returns they have run out of most things anyway, why not just pre-book the extra leg room seats they have in the mian cabin anyway? Though people do tend to wander infront of you on long haul if u sit there !
There are a lot of mixed reviews about this. Some say it's worth it, others disagree. Dot's point about them running out of stuff crops up, as does reports about cabin staff having had their break in some exotic destination not caring much about the passengers on the return leg.
But with a long-haul minimum seat pitch of 33 inches, you wouldn't feel cramped in their standard economy section.
We flew with first choice to Florida back in March. Its probably the best flight ive ever been on both ways. Would definately fly with them again long haul
this will probably depend on how tall you are and how comfortable you are, especially if you need to sleep en route. 33 inches is much better than BA (31 inches) - BA is far too cramped for me but I could probably manage with 33". An upgrade only gets you to 36" so not that much bigger, but again it might be just the job if you need to stretch out at night.
