I'm trying to make a point of drinking more wateer but it seems to be the case that the more water i drink the more thirsty I get. Someone in the office has just mentioned that humans dont absorb water that well something to do with isonic...at least thats what it sounded like.

Question - what can I put in water to help me absorb it better and stop me from being so thirsty?

TIA

I've always wondered why squash quenches your thirst but water doesnt
Can you not just add squash?
if you are constantly thirsty, arrange a urine test

Might be an idea to see your GP if you are always thirsty.
use isotonic drinks like the cyclists in the tour de france .

minus the performance enhancing drugs of course : - )

Could it be that you are feeling more thirsty as water doesnt refresh you as much as say a cup of tea or coffee would?

A few years ago I only worked weekends and all week I drank loads of water and constantly wanted more yet at weekends I had 3 cups of tea in 8 and half hours and I was fine.

I bought some powdered water...but dont know what to mix it with !
