Did you know that when you are making a cup of coffee, be it instant or in a perculator, once you have boiled the kettle you shouldn't rush to pour it into the coffee. You should actually let it cool for a few moments and the coffee will taste better.

Yep. I knew that.It even states it on the back of a lot of ground coffee packets.
A friend of mine who used to run a restaurant always says, "Coffee boiled is coffee spoiled."
I knew this but I am always in too much of a hurry and just stick the boiling water in!
It's the reason why with instant coffee I add the milk before the water.
I kinda knew but if I didnt pour right away I'd forget n it would be cold by the time I remembered lol

Does it make a big difference to the taste then? Might try it.
I pour my coffee just before the water boils.
I drink loads of black coffee and always have done i make my coffee with boiling water and cooled water, I have never noticed the difference!!
I always put the milk in first.
Yeah I've heard of this - if you do you "burn" the coffee and it spoils it..
