I have a netgear wireless network and have just realised it is not secure. Does anyone know how to sort this out I have been using it for sometime so no longer have box or instructions.

Which Netgear router do you have? There are several models.

In any case, with a laptop or desktop connected to the router by ethernet cable, open the admin page by typing:

192.168.1.1 Or 192.168.0.1

in the address bar.

If you are asked for a username and password ignore username and type admin in the password box.

Hopefully this will give access to the admin pages.

Let us know when you are there, and what happens.

Also the model of the router.

if you start a command prompt and enter the command "ipconfig" (without the quotes) you will be shown the details of the configuration.

There will be a line saying "Default Gateway"

That will be the IP addres sof your router. Put that into the address bar of your web browser. Depending on the make of the router , the manufacturer website should be able to tell you the default logon details.
