Hello!

My friend is being chased for one month's membership fee from a gym that she went to. The gym went bust just before the end of that month. How can they be still chasing the money ? I thought I would try and find out for her as it doesn't sound quite right to me.

Many thanks, c~s

Could be the company looking after the insolvency.

If it closed and still owed her gym time i.e. she had paid for a month but only got 2 weeks she could say call it quits
lol all gyms pay upfront u pay before you start so if she was near the end of the month then how can you pay for something thats not open the month after lol

maybe in the membership twerms and conditions the DD is due at a certain anniversary date and this didn;t get paid and so probably they are entitled to chase it as part of their assets for the insolvency process.
