Hi, yes my usual gripe on here, hubby and his pc game (wow), hes not too bad on it now actually, it just stresses me that when i want his attention he cant give it me, earlier he was sat at the pc fighting in his game and was in conversation with me too, so i went over to kiss him (give him a taster for later when its 'our time') and he wouldnt engage in a full snog just a peck because he was fighting sum oger on his game. this isnt acceptable to me. am i wrong?

I have a similar thing with my boyfriend. I try not to let it get to me, but since our relationship is long distance he can play the game whenever he likes when Im not around. But if Im in the shower or getting ready, he'll quite often play it. But he knows it annoys me if he plays it when im with him.
even five hours is a lot for a hobby, especially if it's several days a week. I spend quite a lot of time on AB, but it's mostly just dipping in while I'm supposed to be doing other jobs at work (as I am now...<looks over shoulder>)... no doubt it's addictive, but I must say I can sympathise with Kitten mislaying her husband for that length of time. Fine if your partner wants to join in; much less so if she doesn't, and it seems Kitten doesn't. So yes, I think there's a problem here.
crossroads behave!

That'll lead to divorce and quite frankly even though 15 hours every day is excessive I still think Mr Kitten should be allowed to have some "me" time to spend as he wishes. It could be worse, he could be down the pub getting pickled and copping off with the local trollops.
oh sorry B00, didn't realise that locking the computer for 5 mins a day whilst he is playing would lead to a divorce.

. . . If a divorce happens, don't come running to me.
. . . . . . . . . . . . Go to boo instead.

Can you not imagine the kerfuffle crossy when he (and he will!) finds out why his PC isn't working for those 5 minutes?

He's an adult who I presume plays the game to ease everyday stresses, I think it's selfish to demand that he gives that time up. I know that I'd be severly ****** off if Mr Boo decided to treat me like a pubescent teen and 'confiscates' my me time
Bloody hell, we don't want to get to that stage boo, Mr kitten will be entertained whilst not playing the game.
I'm not sure how your 5 minute ban thing would work crossy, so forgive my ignorance here, but if this 5 minutes occurs when he's in the middle of an 'instance' for example, he'll go ballistic and I can honestly say that kitten 'ere wont be 'entertained' for quite some time afterwards!
would Mr boo give up playing his favourate game for a spot of gold mining?
I have a theory actually, that B00 broke her wrist in that slip on the beach because actually the wrist joints had been adversly weakened by repetitive strain injury caused by 5/6/7 hours a day on this WOW thingy thing. lol : ))
i'm sorry...but "gold mining"? No comprende.

And you're probably right dotty- lol.
tickling the ivories?
Entertaining your senses?
now theres the difference crossy- i wouldn't expect or demand couple time when he's playing. The fact I'm usually playing as well has nothing to do with it, lol.
Sorry to ask so rudley B00, but was just wondering.
kitten, it IS unreasonable, especially as you have a young child together. He needs to wean himself off. I KNOW how addictive games and the computer in general can be, but he needs to spend time outside of his game community, preferably with his wife. I am totally in agreement with you.
The next time he wants to be your special friend tell him you found someting to entertain you fifteen hours a day and show him your homage to rayman raving rabbits, say thanks but no thanks, perhaps another time, maybe later - maybe not. I think it's a cheek to expect you to do everything else while he is playing this game so much.
