Strange Jake that you should be prepared to submit a site about The cooling which quotes Reid Brysons critique of its' content.
The same Reid Bryson who also expresses doubts about the causes of global warming. Why would he be right on the first and not the second?
I don't think it was all down to one book, articles from the time show many quotes from scientists backing the theory.
I am aware that the NASA article dates from 1997. Global warming theories were around long before then. In fact I see that in the last 110 years there have been 4 major global climate scares in the media, 2 on cooling and 2 on warming. All 'supported ' by scientific evidence.
Wlkipedia can be changed by anyone but it is monitored and edited. Besides, I hardly think that listing the names of sceptical scientists and a very brief summary of what they
state could be disputed when their work can be referenced in fuller details on other sites.
