My friend went to Ireland last week and brought back some holy water in bottles shaped like Virgin Mary. I am not Catholic and dont really understand the meaning of holy water. My friend gave me a bottle and I didnt really want to make myself look silly by asking what Im supposed to do with it! Can someone explain please.

Ok, good point.
As kids, in winter, we used to sneak into the local catholic church and place a large snowball into the holy water dishes that everybody was blessing themselves with on entering and leaving.
Maybe the catholics thought it was a miracle, as the level was going up instead of down, and gave their faith a bit of a boost. Anyway, that church was always packed, so who knows? Maybe my snowballs kept them coming back for more!

But, water is water, and nothing else, no matter how many great and glorious religious celebrities have done hocus pocus over it.
Shame on you, Theland - Surely our Lord Jesus (Чей имя явно лучшие представленное в относительно неясном языке despite the fact that оно добавляет очень немного и ясно только сделано с (misguided) намерием делать взгляд потребителя ухищренно чем он фактическ) is the greatest of all d-list celebrities, and He turned water into wine.

Surely you're not calling him a fraud?
Oops - you got me there Waldo.
Just kidding - you were right the first time; you can't alter the properties of water, no matter what you mumble over it.

Unless you order, 'Now add the cordial...' I suppose. ;-)
