I have just found out that I have a condition called Rosacea. What are the best methods of treatment? Can I treat this via the use of my diet?

I was told I have this too, however I dnt think I have by looking at the photos of people online but then again i might just have a small dose of it.

Anyway, my gp didnt really give me much help.
but I found that the main triggers were booze and spicy foods and the sun.

one website advised me to keep a diary of food and also flare ups, which I never really did!

I changed my skin routine to :
REN Rose facewash
Body shop vitamin C skin serum
Body shop Vit E moisturiser
This all seemed to help, expensive but helped me.

There are some good websites on it if you google around a bit,

Hi, cooks, last week I was diagnosed with rosacea, too - after delaying a visit to the dermatologist for about 3 months. I'm just getting used to my lovely new complexion and its special needs.

From what I've learned so far, rosacea is an inflammation disorder, and triggers that worsen the condition vary from person to person. It can be helped but not cured. And it can take time to figure out your triggers, be they dietary, environmental or "other". So far I've identtified sun, heat (indoor and outdoor), anxiety, ketchup, PMS and red wine.

I've gotten a lot of great info and advice from the following discussion board: http://forum.rosaceagroup.org/ .
