You will not be able to exchange your driving licence for a British one, however, you will be able to drive in Great Britain (GB) on your full, valid driving licence for up to 12 months from the time you first become resident. You will need to stop driving once the 12 months are over.

To continue driving in GB you will need to get a GB provisional driving licence and sit a theory and practical driving test.

yes,i believe you have to sit our tests, before you can have a gb licence
and can we have our boats back please
Excellent answers to the question but how many "visitors" comply with these regulations?
NORMANTHEDOG. Please do not ask for the boats back, let them keep them to go further and seek other places where the streets are paved with gold.

If I upset you as much as Normanthedog did will you also give me one million litre of petrol?

NormanTG. for supporting you I think you should seriously think about giving me a few litres from the donation you have been promised. Sod the boats. (Dear)
