Me and a few of my friends have set our hopes on going on holiday in the summer to celebrate our GCSE's but we cant find anywhere to go as we are all 16!!! Even though we are very sensible! Does anyone have any ideas on where to stay? Or any ways around the age issue? we were planning on going somewhere near the beach with a range of resturants etc.

Please Help?!!

Stay at YHA accomodation.

There a YHA places all over the UK, including many in seaside and holiday places.

For example there are about 25 in Cornwall.

Here is the web site

http://www.yha.org.uk/

The YHA also do summer camps.

See this web site
http://www.doit4real.co.uk/

The camps have all sorts of themes (sport, computer, activity etc)

My son who is 16 went on one last year, and it was mostly with girls, so he was well pleased.

They arrange coaches from all over the UK to the places where the camps are.

We live in Birmingham and our son got a coach from near where we live all the way to the camp.

Last year, they had a deal wherby if you had never been on one of their camps it only cost 100 but I am not sure if they are doing that this year.

And dont think they are boring. Last year he did rock climbing, canoing, caving, archery, sailing, and they had a day at a nearby theme park.

It is for people between 11 and 17, but they do split you into age groups so you will not be stuck with a load of 11 year olds.

And most of they leaders are teenagers or early 20s so that make sure it is a lot of fun.
In fact have a look at the quotes about the YHA summer camps. You can see there not boring.

Not sure about getting accomadation but Edinburgh is a great place to go, even if jsut for a weekend, no beach though. But me & my boyfriend went in the summer (we're both 18) and loved it, definately woul go again.
Well in the summer if u r all 1, u can do a 18-30 holiday aslong as u have ure parents consent!!

I use to be rep yrs ago in ibiza and it was a cool place, to old for it all now though
I to went on holiday after my gcse's we went to crete, malia its great for a beach, club holiday but definatly not as full on as the likes of ibiza. We stayed at a hotel about 5 mins from the beach it was really lovely and relaxing in the day and has just the right amount of bars and clubs. The restaurants are also great with lots of variety and most of all very good value for money. We went for a week on a package holiday and i think it only cost about 230. This was a few years ago though lol!!!
Music festivals (V, Glastonbury etc) are always a good laugh if you want to go somewhere just for a weekend. They are cheap and security is usually very good, so you feel safe. Just don't expect to get a suntan! (although you'll make loads of new friends)
I had this problem when i was 16. As long as all the rents give permission ie a letter or something for the travel agents there shouldn't be a problem with going abroad. i went to Ayia Napa last year and had a great time with my mates. the beach is great and there are loads of restraunts, bars etc..... If your staying in this country newquay is always good for a laugh. i camped there when i was 16 and there was no need for me to give parent permission or proof of age.
