Down to three and suspect I am being thick! Is 67 some combination of 'all', 'set' or 'lot'? Also struggling with 89 and 93, which don't seem to have appeared in any other postings....
I'm a novice at this puzzle but I think you are looking at 'all.' A racing term with the word 'all' plus.
I hope others with more experience agree with me?
Having been working on a previously posted clue to 67 which said "think of a two-word phrase meaning the entire number" for the last couple of hours and getting nowhere and then to get teacher1 changing it to torch connections has just confused me completely. I had assumed that one of the words needed was possibly "set" but could not find any racing term connection for 2 words. HELP please with another clue??!!
The torch clue is for 93 though not 67 look more closely at Gandolf34 3 words and you will find Chambers gives a definition connected with horses for one of them. :-)
Sorry teacher1 - didn't notice you had referred to another question. Too focused on my problem. Thanks also Ont-ice - have now sorted 67. I was working on the 3 words that Gandolf34 had posted but couldn't sort the first word. Got it now - not a very exciting one!!!!!
Thanks Headley - I thought I had looked up all the 9-letter words starting with the 3 letter drunkard, but I find I was wrong! Re 80, the Dagenham girls are pipers, and the answer is the collective name for pipers
