I have some 8mm thick ceramic floor tiles that i would like use to use as wall tiles. They are 400mm square and I would like to know what adhesive to use.Do I use normal tile adhesive or do I have to use adhesive for floor tiles. Many thanks in advance.

Consider how difficult it is to remove wall tiles where ordinary wall tile adhesive has been used. I think you'd be safe enough using that! But a 'high grab' adhesive might help. In any event, you'll have to support the tiles until the adhesive sets.
Agree - provided you have good suction onto the surfaces, should be alright. To be safer you could buy the best quality of readymix adhesive - somthing like BAL White Star - about 25 for 5 litres.
The bigger problem you may have is cutting these things - have you got a diamond wheel cutter and/or not many shapes to go around? Also window reveals would be hard to do neatly. You would need a 10mm wide edge strip - is available to special order.
I would use a rapid-set part flexible wall tile adhesive.
Sorry, I meant floor tile adhesive.
