Hi, not sure if this is the right category to put this question in, but how do I email Ebay to complain about a listing? Ive gone through the 'contact us' section, but none of the options there match my query. I dont want to seem petty but am really annoyed that they allow certain items to be listed, and so would like to find out if there is any way to complain to them? I heard on the news the other day that the Diana concert tickets were taken off sale and they wouldnt have been a banned item on ebay regs - does anyone know how I can speak to them about this please as charities are being exploited by this? Thanks x

Sorry, I just thought that ripping off childrens charities was a morally wrong thing to do, but then wouldnt expect someone with your mentality to understand that. Im afraid that its you who needs to get a life if you actually bothered to read my question, when having no interest in it, and then reply to it!!!! I wish my life was as exciting as yours! Merry Christmas!!
whos ripping off who,you think about it. shes been dead for nearly 10 yrs now ,what charities are you talking about, and how are charities being ripped off, that happens every day of the year,i suppose you think bob geldof dident make any money out of live aid and all the trips he made to africa was paid for by himself,i think you need to sit down and think really hard because charities do not get all of the monety donated,we are the ones being ripped off by the lies they tell you about the monies.so dont have a go at me,when you dont know what the hell you are talking about.
also, whats it got to do with shopping
I'm not known for agreeing with Norman but I must admit that I can't see how any charity is ripped off by people selling concert tickets on eBay. The promoters will receive exactly the same amount of money from a ticket sale whether the purchaser attends the concert or sells the ticket on to a third party.

However, to answer your question:
'Contracts and tickets' are shown, on eBay's policy pages, as items where listings may be 'questionable':
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/items-ov .html
This means that you can report any such listings using the usual procedure (and selecting the first option), here:

Alternatively, you can write to eBay. Their UK operation is largely run from Switzerland:

eBay International AG:
Helvetiastrasse 15/17
3005 Bern
Switzerland

There UK address is hard to find but try this:

Douglas McCallum,
Managing Director,
eBay UK.
Hotham House,
Heron Square,
Richmond,
Surrey,
TW9 1EJ.

(You might even be able to get through on the phone, although the number often seems to be unanswered: 020 8948 2020)

Actually, I wasnt going to complain about Diana tickets being sold. If you'd read my question properly, you would have understood that, rather than get in a flying rage over it. Actually, Im cheesed off that the things off the orange adverts, that you donate 1 for in orange shops, are being sold for a fortune on Ebay - there was one on there the other day for 28 and rising. Im sorry if Im the only person on AB who finds that upsetting, because obviously some selfish B**tard is pocketing at least 27 on a charities back, and somehow, I dont think that will be going to the disadvantaged children who need the money.
That is what Im on about, and if you'd read the question properly, rather than just getting your a*se in your hand over what you thought I meant, then we wouldnt be having this discussion.
Anyway - Merry Christmas Norman and thanks for your REAL answer and help Chris - its appreciated. Have a great time over the festive period x
