Well he hasn't asked me out. We have been chatting though and I've found out that his name is Mark, he's 37, he's got a 19 year old son and a 6 year old daughter, he's a weekend and bank holiday dad (so he's not with the mum), he lives a couple of streets away from me, he's got two cars, he's the manager of the garage and has been working there for five months, he didn't sleep well last night (woke up at 3 and was awake for 2 hours, even though he's got nothing on his mind!). He hasn't asked anything about me, or is it that I haven't told him anything about me?! I'm confused, does he like me or does he need someone to talk to?! I've thought about trying to ask if he has a girlfriend in the conversation by maybe saying 'does your girlfriend get on with your kids' or something similar to which I'd hope he'd reply 'I haven't got a girlfriend' but I don't wanna seem too pushy or forward incase he isn't interested in me in that way. I'm confused, any advice anyone? Thank x

Well he's single and has been for four months (which isn't long considering he was with her for at least near on seven years). I must have sounded sooooo corny, he said he needs something to snuggle up to cos he's got a cold and I said 'have you got a girlfriend to snuggle up to then' lol, cheesy or what! At least I know he's single! Ain't been long since the split though so me thinks it's a no no, oh well, I tried!
Well, you've discovered he's single but you sound like you're giving up? Ask the guy out! It ,might have only been 4 months but that's like, a third of a year! You've got nothing to lose and if you are mightily embarrassed if he says no (which he isnt going to) look on the bright side-you'll have to devise a new route to school-more fresh air and exercise for you and the kids!!
