is severe muscle and joint ache normal when detoxing? All I've given up is coffee, tea, bread and alcohol. At first I got a headache which has now gone but I have quite severe pain from my neck to my legs. any ideas?

It's generally acknowledged that when detoxing in any way you may have a headache and other pains as the body goes through withdrawal symptoms. drink plenty of water to allow the toxins to be removed from your body. When detoxing 'feel worse before you get better' applies, stick with it you should feel better in a few days honestly, but if you don't check in with a Dr.

Everyone who has replied to my queries. thank you very much for taking the trouble to reply. In particular Hellion thankyou, but unfortunately I couldnt stand it any more and had some coffee and guess what my pains went! I'm going to try again though but this time with a more gradual detox and have saunas also. Weird isnt it?
I always think it kind of proves that detoxing is not a myth! I can only repeat drink lots of water as it helps the toxins go through the body. To make water more palatable I slice ornges and freeze the slices then have water with 'Ice and a Slice'It's quite addictive honest
of course I mean 'oranges'
