What meal or food would the Answerbankers have if it was to be their last?

A nice piece of plaice with peas, bread and butter and ketchup, followed by apple pie and custard, and two cups of tea. My wife is an excelent cook, and has despaired many times that her potential skills would be wasted on my palate which is about as sophisticated as the average four-year-old!

Probably a chicken kebab with chilli sauce and cabbage. Why? Because i miss them. I used to live near a kebab shop that did chicken kebabs to die for, but where i live now there's not a kebab shop for miles. It's nearly 3 years since i had a decent chicken kebab. (sulk)

I'm typing this as I eat a chicken shish kebab (sorry Cactus!) My last meal would be Barracuda and Nasi Goreng. The fish would be freshly caught so I guess I'd have to go back to Bali to eat it...

Warm Goats Cheese Salad followed by Tornados Rossini with a bottle of Louis Roederer Crystal. I can think of nothing better.

Fish n Chips! Succulent white, flaky cod in crunchy yet moist batter with large chips, cut from real potatoes and fried in veg. oil, smothered in malt vinegar and salt. With a large pickled onion and a can of Tizer. Strange what you miss when you're not in the UK, Cactus I know how you feel about those kebabs. it's been 3 years since I went in a decent chip shop!

If I could have ANYTHING, I'd start with breaded garlic mushrooms, followed by something Italian, and to finish a traditional English pud - apple crumble and custard! What a combination! But, I wouldn't care what I was eating, as long as I was with the one I loved.

Not a good question to be asked or answer when you're on a strict diet but I'd start with Bruchetta with melted mozzerrella, followed by paperdelle with tomato, red pepper and cream sauce accompanied with some garlic bread or chiabatta and for a sweet if I could manage it probably hot chocolate fudge cake and vanilla ice cream. I'd also have some red wine, cabernet shiraz I think, yummy! Is it lunch time yet?!

To start a piping hot bowl of Shellfish bisque served with large crispy croutons that I would sink into a plodge of Aioli then dunk into the soup. Then Beef Wellington with some courgettes and after that I would have a vast array of smelly cheese. No pud but if I was still feeling peckish after that and had time before going to the Guillotine I would stuff in some prawn wontons. - Forgot to say I would wash the lot down with Beaujolais and yes I was Hank Marvin at the time of answering this!

a huuuuuge bowl of chicken vindaloo - if it's my last meal then it can be the death of me. Failing that i'd join wendy for the goats cheese salad and tornados which sound positively delicious!

Stater would be smoked salmon with prawns and caviar.the main course would be a huge plate full roast beef with 4 or 5 yorkshires, warm buttered carrots and roasties. And for Pub, it would have to be strawberries covered in clotted cream.
