Been wearing the pull on type for a while now for comfort as I have been working from home.

I now will be going back to the office a few days a week so have to look smart again.

However over the past 7 months I have lost nearly 3 stone so have no idea what my bra size is now.

Is it worth getting a personal fitting? Have any of you done it and was it worth it?

Done it. Probably worth it but was given different advice from Marks and Debenhams

I have also done it and it is well worth it. Agree with calmck, try M&S (but I think you have to make an appointment). Alternatively there are people who will come to your house, (I cannot remember the brand name),but obviously they will expect you buy a bra off them. Both will tell you what style of bra will suit you now you have lost the weight. Congratulations on that by the way.

(The storefinder link on that page for Bravissimo no longer works but this one does: https://www.bravissimo.com/shops/ )

Jj - the pull on ones do not give me the support and shape I need for the clothes I will have to wear now.

Debenhams has closed down, my wife says Bravissimo.

I just wanted to check this isn't a typo for 'bar fittings', cos I know a guy.

I can't wear a bra due to having fibromyalgia so mine have been swinging the breeze for many years and nobody has noticed.  I do appreciate they are not big

Go to Marks and try different sizes and different cup sizes.

My wife will not go to M&S since her previous bad experience of a bra fitting.

There was a man in the next cubicle the whole time, clearly on the phone arranging drug deals.  When she complained she was told everyone and anyone is entitled to use their changing rooms.  My wife said she expected a degree of privacy and dignity when discussing her boobs

Thanks everyone, Barry that's shocking!

I asked the same question for my wife on AB after that incident, Darcey.  All the department stores she would have used had gone so she was at a loss as to where to go. She had also changed shape and needed a fitting

Wife went to the Triumph bra store to get a fitting.  Many of them around the country just click on store finder at top of their website and you may find one close to you.

I had an excellent bra fitting in M & S a few years back, and was surprised but pleased with my true size, and the design chosen by the fitter which I have ordered online ever since.

However, now that the fitting rooms at M &S are now unisex, I have stopped using their service and do my own measuring. There are instructions  on their website .

The nearest Triumph store fitter is 42 miles away.  I assume they only sell Triumph and Sloggi

You can do it yourself at home. Try Boob or bust group in Facebook

I've never had a bra fitting.
I go to m&s, take loads of different sizes and styles into the changing room and decide myself which are comfortable, and which I like. I've never felt the need to have someone else do that for me.
