you are correct, you can be tired on a day off but the great thing about having a day off is the ability to go back to bed (or not get up) and recover.

It's pretty hard to have sympathy or not see it as being precious though when the majority of people have been working full time since they were 18 or work full time hwilst also running a house, dealing with life admin, looking after children and so on.

I expect i'm just jealous though :)
