Tory peer Lord Frost predicts that the Tory Party faces a very heavy loss in the election. With polls showing Labour well ahead. The Cons should be worried (they are). Frost told LBC "You only have to look at the polls to see we are hurtling to defeat,Every poll we look at says the same thing we're going to lose and we're going to lose heavily.

Nigerian scammers must be looking at our Conservative government with envy and awe. Very few Nigerians manage to scam more than a million pounds out of anyone, but you only need to donate a few million pounds to the Tory party in exchange for some contract worth possibly a billion pounds (or more) – and the whole thing is done in the open, with everyone knowing...

Well I've gone fishing now, to get a bite of something to eat. All the trawlermen have gone bust due to the oven ready deal. Their boats lying in the dry dock rotting just like the HMS QE.

Mr Nice Bloke @ 12.43 As you said on a previous post... This is what Sunak and Johnson meant  when they said we will stop the boats🤣.

Or, perhaps you don't read my posts gull.

12.50 They sure did stop them, could this really be the one and only time they've kept to their word, and one of his pledges? Credit where its due, I'm always a fare nicebloke.🤣🤣🤣

It was an EU policy that dictated our fishing fleet be destroyed in order that the other EU pirates plundered and destroyed our rich fish stock.

Don't let your collective ignorance get in the way of the truth will you.

OG 12.57  "perhaps you don't read my posts gull" I read your post @ 10.38 saying "Partygate" will have little effect ,voters with more than single figure IQs will know it isn't relevant"But judging by the polls it is relevant.

Fleetwood was a booming powerhouse with people who were awash with cash and ready to spend it in all the thriving businesses that were once there. Now it is not much less than a ghost town. Thanks for nothing EEC. Best off without you.

On the contrary gull, there is no way to distinguish which issues have a large effect on voters from those with little effect. But common sense tells one that the averagely intelligent voter will be aware that, whether a group got together for a party, or for some other reason, it has zero effect on the state of the nation or governing well.

LET'S SEE IF THIS ACTUALLY GOES IN THE THREAD IT WAS POSTED IN THIS TIME, FOR A CHANGE.

Can't Fleetwood (and other places) kick off it's fishing industry from scratch again ?
