His denial at knowing anything about the Horizon issues reminds me of Captain Renault in the film Casablanca in his response to Rick asking ‘How can you close me up, on what grounds?’ where he (Captain Renault) said ‘I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here.’ At which some lackey hands him load of cash and says ‘Your winnings, sir.’

As top bod he would have many projects on the go with several levels of management under him. Even if he didn't "clock" it himself I'm surprised those more closely connected to Horizon didn't think to refer the problems up the chain. Shameful.
