At least the Tories won’t need to worry about them, as they are unlikely to have the where-with-all to vote in the election (voter ID, proof of address etc).

The voter-ID requirement will (as the Tories intended) certainly disenfranchise far more Left than Right voters.  A distorted form of gerrymandering at its most glaring.

The ID thing backfired on them at the local elections. They thought they could eliminate a load of idealistic young lefties from the vote by insisting on ID.

They forgot that youngsters are used to carrying ID all the time so they can get a drink.
