My RTBC are that the builders from next door and ours will hopefully leave early today.  I have told next door that they cannot be on site on a Saturday because frankly, I am sick to death of them and their yobbish, disrespectful behaviour.

So I should have a relatively peaceful weekend without having to tell people to shut the gate, or mind their language or pick up their litter.  And I should be able to catch up on all the work I have not been able to do during the week.

What are your RTBC?

Still got a pulse.  ☺👍

Hello BM, mine are simple Tesco delivery between 1-2. Cupboards  fridge/freezer all will be re-stocked for the month including my monthly tipple of Vodka and coke in the order. (AB-ers be prepared) 😉 and all jobs done for the day. and not forgetting it is the weekend.

Nice pile of crap over the fence when the job is finished for you then!

A free double cheeseburger at McDonald's for lunch and I'll be finishing about 4 hours earlier than usual for a Friday

Got a parking ticket for entering the reg number of my other vehicle in the app.  Rescinded on line the next day.

At the time, the parking attendant's trainee assistant, trying to be helpful, said "At least you'll be able to park free of charge for the rest of the day, as we won't be issuing another ticket!

1. my husband is arranging to cook dinner during my next week in studying

2. apart from 4 hours work I don't have to log on all weekend

3. I intend to make several espresso martini's and drink them all

I needed a quick chat with our GP - I rang the surgery, but (rather unusually) got the answerphone rather than the lovely receptionist - decided to try later.

Two minutes later my phone rang - GP ringing back in person - concerned that I hadn't left a message and asking how he could help - two minute chat and all sorted.

Also just discovered that SuperValu is having an Irish Whiskey sale - an excuse to borrow Gness's shiny new MG4 and toddle off for a look.

And then it's Friday Teatime = Guinness Time.

And the sun is a shining.

Sounds like you two SD. How is our dear Gness doing?

All good, thanks Arky - G sends her love (from up a ladder where she is painting doors and things).

BM, I am Kidd72 btw. I only use it for the longest thread in AB usually but forgot to log out as such.

Good to know SD, will you be able to tell the difference if the fumes are getting to her 😋

For the first time in about 3.5 months I got a full night sleep.

I realised that my weight gain isn't the end of the world and I can lose it again.

I had a cheeky Greggs for lunch as was on the way to the vet BUT I did not order a cake!

jambalya for tea and I cannot wait and film I think with hubby.

It's Friday..not that that makes much difference when you're retired, but it does psychologically somehow.

We took dog for a lovely walk early this afternoon which he thoroughly enjoyed and which perked him up after him vomiting overnight 🙄🤮

I bought some nice jegging type things and a big stripey top in Sainsbury this morning, that's me sorted for the winter for comfy indoor clothes 👚👖

We still have over a week away, including seeing two of our grandchildren and having them to ourselves for a whole day and night 🥳❤️
