1. It's Friday
2. My new kitchen, utility and media unit will be fitted in 4 weeks' time.
3. I've found the perfect corner sofa, dining set and lighting.
4. It's going to be glorious this weekend.
5. It's my anniversary soon and we always spoil each other.
Barmaid. I’m assuming you both work hard, are not struggling for money ( I may be wrong) . Why spend your well earned rest time in the house when you could be outside. .? Go on you know it makes sense :-)
It's on the "to do" list, Anne. And we are both of the view it is more cost effective to have a cleaner in than me do it since I get so distracted/find more interesting things to do so it takes me ages! (And it makes me grumpy). lol
We have a gardener to help us a couple of times a week, otherwise we would never cope - she's a blummin godsend!
I'm tired, so tired. BUT my garden looks stunning, butterflies and bees enjoying the foxgloves, birds eating their live meal worms I put out for them. A daddy blackbird is teaching baby blackbird how to wash itself in the birdbath. Then how to poop in it before it has a drink LOL. True.
1. I've been swimming in a Devon river surrounded by dragonflies while fish nibbled my feet. 2. I'm on the beach all day tomorrow. 3. I'm on the beach all day Sunday. 4. I'm on the beach all day Monday
I went to my old workplace for a surprise party for a very long term...25 years...former manger. Saw lots of friends I'd not seen in 2 years or way more. It was lovely.
So lovely, I'm going to do some volunteer work there starting Monday. When I quit 2 years ago I thought I'd never set foot there again, but since the dictatorial clique is gone and compassion is back, I'll be back too.
I used to work as a cook at a drop in centre for homeless, vulnerable, addicts etc. It was a crazy place back a few years ago...but due to covid the environment is far more controlled now. So I thought I'd give it a go...it will give me a focus too.
This is ChatterBank, Pasta, I'd never expect anything to stay on-topic. I'm glad you feel okay to go back there now, after they treated you so unfairly xx
RTBC this afternoon I found the hole in the fence where their ladyships were escaping. Hole is blocked and the little ******s went to bed at a sensible time.
We had some "bonding" time - I deliver meal worms and then I can catch the little bitches and plonk them back in their pen. So far it's a 1-1 draw between me and them.
