Sore Back!

I have had lower back pain for over twenty years. It comes, it hurts and it goes.

If my current sore back is muscular then it disappear in time.

There is a pain to the right of my spine at waist height. It is not sore all the time, there are spasms in the area and it is extra bad when I try to go from standing up to lying down.

Question ... is it safe to assume this is just muscle related and hope it goes away soon? I don't feel any more crap than usual.

Thanks

Answer.....yes it is safe to assume that it is muscular and will go away.
I'd be phoning my osteopath to come have a look at me. Aches and pains can come from anywhere but a proper hands-on operator should be able to nudge everything back into place.

Don't ask me how to find one, though, it's just trial and error, especially if you've recently moved.

Thank you.

I will continue to moan and groan and eat Paracetamol.

I hope you are well!
Hi Susan, if you can tolerate ibuprofen , i like the combination of para/ bruffen together. Have you tried a hot water bottle or a heat pad ?

Ann, can't take Ibuprofen, this s frustrating.

I have been prescribed Amitriptyline for generalised pain.

... An ice pack thing helped but it burnt my skin. Hot water bottle s in flat, in a box behind the new kitchen that is sitting in the spare bedroom. :-(
I put my back pain down to too much slouching around in armchairs. If it hits I behave myself more until it's gone.

OG - I spend my life in front of a computer and that is usually the cause of my problem.

This pain is being a real pain though. I will just have to behave until it is gone.
