When will God destroy the wicked? If so, how much longer must we wait? Such questions are asked by people throughout the earth. Where can we find the answers? We can do so in divinely inspired prophetic words about God’s appointed time. They assure us that Jehovah will soon execute judgment upon all wicked ones. Only then will the earth become completely “filled with the knowing of the glory of Jehovah as the waters themselves cover over the sea.” That is the prophetic promise found in God’s Sacred Word at Habakkuk 2:14.

romans built aqueducts to improve peoples lot in cities and for farmers, all good things, condemn man for progress, or did gods experiment get ahead of him? but being omnipotent he it would have already knew, i think the real problem with the world is over population in poor countries and bad governence.
n. It's called The Noble Eightfold Path;

Being something, and being in something is subtly different though.
It reads like something knocked out on a quiet Wednesday. By someone with too much time on his hands, and a vivid imagination.
//Oddly (maybe) that prayer is quoted in a book I have about Zen, though I would say Buddhists would prefer the word 'correct' thought, speech or actions to replace, but not to negate, 'God'. //

Over-conflating it, Khandro?
It reads like something ........his hands, and a vivid imagination.

Is this the man who only says facts? I can hardly believe it. It looks like an opinion to me. and hey ABers, having settled the OT and passed over Islam ( pun intended, haw haw haw) -we are now doing Buddhism in the few minutes that remain.

avancez AB ! - ( that means go AB! in er ( I must not say forrin, I must not say forrin) French )
//The editor assures me that over half of AB really believe Trump won the last election//

Not true.
Must've missed that poll.
I remember praying,' Dear God. I have never wronged an Onion so why does it make me cry?'
He never answered me. :-(
Maybe it's too polite to tell you that it's because you're a crybaby :-)
Question Author
You talk about prayers. That God does not answer.
Have you thought why?
He does not answer insincere or silly prayers.
If you know the Bible it tells you there he doesn’t answer prayers from those who dont have him in their heart. Proverbs 28 v 9.
That would be anyone's prayers except yours and other JW's then.

Your arrogance is as large as your delusion.

You'll have to wait and see.
Goodlife - // You'll have to wait and see. //

Indeed - but so will you.

The interesting difference between us is, I will have lived a happy and fulfilled life, utterly untroubled by a future I neither know, or can control.

But you will have fretted away your time with your mixture of hand-wringing pity, and lofty contempt, for those who don't think like you.

Doomed to spend your time on here with the cyber-equivalent of shouting into a bucket, at people who either simply don't believe what you say, or in the case of the vast majority, couldn't care less.
Question Author
The difference here is that I believe the Bible you don't. The Bible says happy are those who Read the Bible.(Psalm 144;15)I could go on a lot more, but I won't. But know this, JW's are the happiest people on the earth.
The bible says Happy are those who read the bible ...

What would you expect it to say - Put this down immediately, it's facile nonsense?
Goodlife/ More Than 1500 Years Ago, The Prophet Habakkuk Said. How Long how long ( had2:3) locust///Yes I believe in the prophecy. Of the Bible. And there is a recognition. It also says they will not Know the Day or the Hour when he is arriving: But when he does arrive ,They will be in amaze especially, The Ones who do not believe in the Creator they will Run to their atomic bunkers ,or a cave, or to Try to hide from him. Because they will know that they Were Disloyed to him? .And their day will come to an end? Because of the prophecies. the prophecies are being fulfilled Now as we see with the chaos of this planet going up in flames ,Hurricanes and the Dangers around us ,,keep up your good work. Yes
