When will God destroy the wicked? If so, how much longer must we wait? Such questions are asked by people throughout the earth. Where can we find the answers? We can do so in divinely inspired prophetic words about God’s appointed time. They assure us that Jehovah will soon execute judgment upon all wicked ones. Only then will the earth become completely “filled with the knowing of the glory of Jehovah as the waters themselves cover over the sea.” That is the prophetic promise found in God’s Sacred Word at Habakkuk 2:14.

The comparison doesn't rely on both being organic as that simply stifles debate. Both are code for something. Neither is the something it achieves.
Why do some insist that their fairy tales are "gospel" ? Either one has evidence, or one does not: conjecture is fine, but should be presented as such, not as guaranteed truth and valuable knowledge that we should all blindly accept.

Funny isn't it? You don't believe in the Bible and you don't believe there's a god. What are you scared of?
Not death, goodlife. That's what you're scared of - and wasting your life dwelling on it, as you do, isn't funny at all. It's quite sad.
goodlife, I'm certainly not scared of death, I shall return to the state I was before I was born, I will not know I'm dead.
If it wasn't for the futile hope of cheating death, that God would be redundant.
There may or may not be a God, it is difficult to find a test that produces evidence of the conjecture. However if there is, it may not be anything like any particular religion envisions it. Maybe it's a label for everything that is. In which case everything and everyone would then inevitably be God.
O.G.

'God be in my head, and in my understanding;
God be in my eyes, and in my looking;
God be in my mouth, and in my speaking;
God be in my heart, and in my thinking;
God be at my end, and at my departing.'

[i] attributed to Pynson’s Horae, 1514 [i]

?
If a God (whatever) either can not or will not speak for itself seems rather presumptive to imagine one can speak on its behalf or of its intentions.
Khandro, why do you post stuff like that? Do you really think it influences anyone?

Incidentally, that was set to music. I remember singing it at school assemblies.

Answer: Goodlife, Your end is nigh.

All I know is that God will step in before man completely ruins the earth, which is what he is doing now Or cant you see that?
//All I know... //

You don't 'know' anything, goodlife. You just think you do.
well, if so, he should have stepped in centuries ago - wit the Roman destruction of trees in the Nafusa Mountains, the deforestation allowing the desert to encroach on their Libyan grain basket area in the northwest of the country and elsehwere.
naomi; //Incidentally, that was set to music. I remember singing it at school assemblies.//

I bet it was lovely !

My favourite was, "Oh hear us when we pray to thee, for those in peril on the sea".

Our voices were just breaking & it was enjoyable to show off by singing the refrain in the octave lower than others. :0)
Khandro,

Even though they do it better than we did, I always thought it utterly dreary.

I like 'Eternal Father Strong to Save too'.
Keep at it good life
"and wasting your life dwelling on it, as you do," ( deff)

let them read: I am the light and the life and if oyu believe in me I will give you life everlasting ( yes I can do that in Gk 2)

and you know what? The editor assures me that over half of AB really believe Trump won the last election - and the other half think he was running for Prime Minister - there is gullibility for you !
Oddly (maybe) that prayer is quoted in a book I have about Zen, though I would say Buddhists would prefer the word 'correct' thought, speech or actions to replace, but not to negate, 'God'.

I quoted it not to 'influence' anyone but in response to what O.G. had just said at 10:16,
^^ to naomi
.DTC - When will God destroy the wicked? If so, how much longer must we wait?

DTC is that a pun ?
A psalm of David.13 1 Lord, how long must I wait? Will you forget me forever? How long will you turn your face away from me?

Theme of waiting for salvation is not exactly unBiblical
Did you perhaps pick it up from your dear muvva ss she crooned over your crib ?
